Terms of Service

Rules for using Ascendy responsibly and fairly.

Effective date: April 15, 2026. These Terms of Service govern use of the Ascendy application, related website pages, and any premium offerings connected to the Ascendy service.

Ascendy is a fitness planning, workout logging, progression, and social accountability product. By creating an account, browsing the service, purchasing a subscription, or participating in community features, users agree to these Terms and the accompanying Privacy Policy.

If a user does not agree to these Terms, that user should not use Ascendy. Continued use after an update to these Terms may be treated as acceptance of the revised version to the extent permitted by law.

At-a-glance overview

These Terms are intended to explain the main responsibilities attached to an account-based fitness and social product. They cover eligibility, subscriptions, community participation, acceptable use, health disclaimers, premium access, and the circumstances under which Ascendy may suspend or terminate use.

Termination and deletionAscendy may suspend abusive use, and users may delete accounts subject to re-authentication or lawful retention obligations.

Eligibility and account responsibility

Users must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement in their jurisdiction and must provide accurate registration information. Ascendy accounts appear to support Apple sign-in, Google sign-in, and email-based registration. Users are responsible for protecting their login credentials and for activities carried out through their accounts unless unauthorized use is reported promptly.

Fitness, health, and safety disclaimer

Ascendy is not a doctor, coach-on-demand, emergency service, or substitute for professional medical advice. Workout suggestions, streak systems, progression indicators, social comparisons, or analytics should not be treated as medical guidance. Users should evaluate their own health condition, exercise safely, and seek qualified medical advice before beginning or modifying a fitness routine.

Subscriptions, trials, and premium access

Ascendy Pro may be offered through monthly or annual plans, and the reviewed repository references a seven-day trial period. Subscriptions are billed through Apple using the user’s App Store account. Renewal, cancellation timing, refunds, taxes, and billing disputes are therefore also subject to Apple’s terms, policies, and platform controls. Unless Apple says otherwise, subscriptions automatically renew until canceled.

Canceling a subscription stops future renewal but does not necessarily terminate access immediately if time remains in the current paid period. Deleting an Ascendy account does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription; cancellation should be managed directly through the user’s Apple account settings. Ascendy may change premium prices, benefits, or trial availability prospectively as permitted by applicable law and App Store rules.

User content and community participation

Users may be able to upload profile content, workout proof, photos, media, posts, and other materials in connection with social features. Users retain responsibility for the content they submit and must ensure that it is lawful, non-infringing, and appropriate for a fitness community. By uploading content, users grant Ascendy any limited rights reasonably necessary to host, display, process, moderate, and distribute that content within the service.

Acceptable use and prohibited behavior

Users may not use Ascendy to harass others, impersonate a person or organization, upload illegal or infringing material, manipulate rankings or rewards dishonestly, interfere with the service, extract data in an unauthorized manner, or use the app in a way that threatens safety or privacy. Users also may not misuse location features, challenge systems, or community surfaces to stalk, shame, or expose another person.

Location, leaderboards, and personal safety

Ascendy includes social visibility and live-map-related functionality. Users should exercise care before sharing their location, visibility status, photos, or activity patterns. Even where the product blurs coordinates or offers privacy controls, users remain responsible for choosing settings that match their comfort and safety needs. Ascendy may limit, suspend, or modify map, leaderboard, or social functionality to protect users, reduce abuse, or comply with platform obligations.

Leaderboards, GP totals, streaks, and other competitive mechanics are provided for motivation and community engagement. Ascendy may investigate or correct suspected misuse, fraud, technical errors, duplicate accounts, false workout entries, or other behavior that undermines fair participation.

Intellectual property and service ownership

Except for user-submitted content and third-party materials, the Ascendy service, interface, trademarks, design, text, logos, software, and audiovisual elements belong to the publisher or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Users receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

Suspension, termination, and liability limits

Ascendy may suspend or terminate access when it reasonably believes a user has violated these Terms, created safety risk, acted fraudulently, or interfered with the service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ascendy is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without guarantees of uninterrupted operation. The publisher’s liability may be limited for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

Questions, notices, and future updates

Questions about these Terms, subscription concerns, takedown requests, or account matters should be sent through the support contact presented in the official App Store listing or in the published app support flow. If the publisher adds a dedicated support email, legal entity name, or business address before release, those details should be added here so public notices route to the correct destination.

Ascendy may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect new features, legal requirements, platform rules, or operational changes. Where required, the service may present updated terms in-app or on this website and request renewed acknowledgment.
